DoD SkillBridge — Launching Summer 2027
Transition from active duty to federal cybersecurity.
The strongest security professionals don't just hold certifications — they understand the mission. Desra Secure is actively working toward becoming an authorized DoD SkillBridge employer, with our program launching in summer 2027. Fellows will gain hands-on, commercial experience in federal cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management during their final 180 days of service.
Why SkillBridge with Desra Secure
Built on discipline, accountability, and mission focus.
Transitioning out of the military is complex. Our leadership brings direct operational experience from Department of Defense and Intelligence Community environments, and we understand what it means to work in high-stakes, high-consequence security roles. As a SkillBridge fellow, you are embedded in a specialized advisory firm, working alongside cleared professionals to solve real compliance and security challenges for defense contractors and federal agencies.
Commercial Translation
Translate your military cyber, IT, or signals experience into high-demand commercial skills across CMMC, RMF, and NIST SP 800-171.
Direct Mentorship
Work directly with our CEO and senior advisors who have successfully navigated the transition from DoD operations to the private sector.
Consulting Experience
Gain exposure to the business side of federal contracting — proposal development, gap assessments, and client advisory.
